Velike banke v Evropi in tudi drugod po svetu so manipulirale z obrestnimi merami na osnovi LIBOR in s temi prevarami na veliko služile. EU finančni regulator Michel Barnier se je postavil proti močnemu bančnemu lobiju in se prizadeva za reforme, ki bi postavile bančnike pred sodišče za tovrstne kraje. Potrebna je množična podpora ljudi, da se pripelje te reforme skozi.
